About Jennifer
Jennifer's love for theater, film, and performing have been part of her psyche for as long as she can remember. One of her earliest memories of live theater was going to see student performances at local universities with her mother. Some people find their soul in a church pew, Jennifer found hers in a theater seat at Drury College.
Her first performance on-camera was for a regional children's television program known as "The Children's Hour." She continued to take classes and perform throughout her childhood and teenage years, focusing on dance, vocal training, performing in the Springfield Little Theater Y.E.S. Troupe and in school productions.
She majored in Theater & Dance at Missouri State University, before refocusing her efforts in Radio, Film & Television as well as English -Creative Writing/Literature, receiving a minor in the former and a M.A. in the latter. After a hiatus to raise her children, she returned to acting as an adult in 1999 and has been working nonstop since. She has appeared in one feature length film, A Special Occasion, an indie short, Adrift, commercials including Prilosec OTC, Rogaine, Kinder Music, and Fast Signs, as well as numerous stage productions. Nothing moves her like watching a performance that changes the way people see the world. She hopes she can do that for others through her work.
